This year is the 2nd year that Ben and I have carved a pumpkin together. This is something that last year we decided would be "our tradition" and I have really enjoyed it. :]
Our pumpkins don't have silly or scary faces, but in some way or another show Christ's love, or have some sort of Christian theme.
Here are some pictures:
My heart and my soul, I give You control, consume me from the inside out, Lord. Let justice and praise, become my embrace to love You from the inside out.

In training to do the hard thing!
I recently returned from a youth conference in Hammond, Indiana. I had a great time, and the preaching was awesome. God spoke to me in so many ways, and I am ready to be a warrior for Christ. He reassured me that I was doing the right thing concerning some decisions I had recently made, and I have been encouraged to continue working on the things that need to be worked on in my life. I want to be closer to God and I want to be used by him. I am more excited and on fire for God than I have ever been, and it is the best feeling in the world! Our God is an awesome God!

fun at work :: GAP Kids
Ok so I'm editing this for the ones that said they didn't know what G.A.P. Kids was. :P
GAP Kids is the summer program at my church, it stands for Gospel After-School Program.
I work there full time, and I have really been enjoying it. The devotions and bible lessons really pay off, we have had 4 kids get saved this summer already! It is a great blessing from God that I got the job, and I couldn't ask for one any better.

Praise
I am a little bit late getting this up here, but I had my surgery Monday, May 19, and everything went well. I was fine through the whole surgery, passed out afterward, but it was all good. I limped around school for a few days, but now I am walking around fine. I can't wait to get back to my exercise and cycling. We heard back from the doctor last Thursday, and now know that I am cancer free. We will still keep a close watch for any more spots that may come up, but for now cancer free. Praise the Lord.. He helped me through it all and now I'm on my way back to my normal activities.

Got Some News...
I went to the dermatologist on April 24th, and they called back the next Tuesday. They had taken a biopsy of a place on my left leg, and they had the results. They said it came back positive for melanoma. I really didn't know what to think, but I did know that God was in control of the situation. I wasn't scared, upset, or even that nervous. We got the appointment set up for May 19th, so I will be going then to get the rest of the cancer removed. It will leave me with about 1 and 1/2 inches of stitches, but it should heal very quickly. As for the other places, I will have to keep a good watch.
It's so nice to know that even when unexpected not so great things happen, God is there. He will keep you from being knocked off your feet and hold your had the whole time. Its just like you're a little kid again, having someone to hold your hand and tell you when to go and when to wait, you don't have to worry about things coming your way, because you have someone to protect you. Our God is and awesome God!
